Derek Yamane

Derek Yamane is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in the sports, entertainment, and renewable energy sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Accounting at Wasserman since January 2012, Derek has contributed to a global network that spans 28 countries. Previous roles include Consultant and Controller/Director of Accounting, along with positions as a Senior Staff Accountant and Staff Accountant at various firms including the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management and Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt, LLP. Derek holds a Master of Science and Management degree from the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with an Accounting emphasis from UC Santa Barbara, and a certificate in Sustainability from UCLA Extension.
