David Patterson has over 10 years of experience in sales and business development. David began their career in 2011 as an Account Representative and Inside Sales Associate at MSC Industrial Supply Co. During their tenure, they developed a collaborative strategy with manufacturers and players in the oil and gas space and managed $4M+ in sales to Federal Government sites and associated contractors in Maine. In 2017, they joined Wastebits as Vice President of Business Development. In this role, they expanded and strengthened sales pipeline, while ensuring accurate revenue forecast in collaboration with sales and leadership teams. Additionally, they optimized business metrics by using multiple software systems and sizeable database.
David Patterson earned a B.A. in International Relations from Kent State University from 2002 to 2007. From 2004 to 2005, they attended Science Po Bordeaux, also studying International Relations and Affairs. In November 2022, David obtained a Senior Product Manager certification from Product School, and in July 2022 they obtained a Foundations of Project Management certification from Google.
