Imran Khan

Imran Khan is an experienced quality management and regulatory compliance professional with a diverse background spanning over 18 years. Currently serving as a QA Specialist at Watchmaker Genomics since October 2023, Imran is responsible for designing and maintaining an ISO 13485-compliant Quality Management System and managing training programs. Previous positions include Independent Consultant (2017-2023), Senior Quality Assurance Specialist at Roche Diagnostics Cape Town (2014-2017), and Quality Assurance Manager at BBI Solutions (2011-2014). Imran's early career involved roles as a Production Scientist at Vision Biotech and Research Scientist at the University of Cape Town, as well as an internship at the South African National Biodiversity Institute. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Science Honours in Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of the Western Cape, alongside a Management Certificate from the University of the Witwatersrand.
