Jonathan Tan

Jonathan Tan has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a 3rd Sergant and Company Quatermaster Sergeant (CQMS) in the Singapore Armed Forces from 2009 to 2011. Jonathan then attended Nanyang Technological University, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering in the School of Electrical and Electronic in 2011. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Technical/ Admin Assistant at Surbana International Consultants Pte Ltd, where they utilized the Autocad skills they learned during their Polytechnic days. In 2013, they interned at Siemens Singapore Industry division, previously known as Customer Service for the Industry Sector. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Toshiba Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in the Industry Systems Division, providing industrial solutions for mainly electrical distribution and rotary machines. In 2021, they worked as a Product Engineer at StashAway. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at both watchTowr and Bank of America.

Jonathan Tan has an education history that spans from 2005 to 2020. Jonathan attended Singapore Polytechnic from 2005 to 2009 and obtained their Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with a focus in Power and Microelectronics. Jonathan then attended Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2011 to 2014 and obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronic Engineering) with a focus in Power and Clean Energy. In 2016, they attended General Assembly for a Full Stack Web Development program. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Coursera in Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning (2020) and from Scrum.org in Professional Scrum Developer I (2020).
