The Water Information and Data Centre is a cooperation programme of all water managers in The Netherlands: water boards, provinces and Rijkswaterstaat.

The Water Information and Data Centre provides a full-service solution to water managers and policy makers to exchange water information.
To enable this we manage and provide an open standard to facilitate the easy exchange of water data. And we collect data and merge it to unambiguous and reliable water information, providing a comprehensive, nationwide insight. We make water information accessible to third parties by producing information products, like factsheets for the Water Framework Directive and the Representation of the National Assessment of Primary Flood Defences.

The Water Information and Data Centre is no resource owner of data and does not interpret nor assess any information. We only provide factual data and information.
