Welcome to your Water St. Cafe established 1988 in the heart of historic Gastown. A iconic family run restaurant housed in our 1906 heritage building. Our culinary team works with local suppliers to bring in the freshest of products to showcase the best that BC has to offer. We strive to offer what every small restaurant ought to be: a commitment to quality, service and value that keeps our guests coming back time and time again, creating true guest connection and the best hospitality experience in Vancouver.

We offer a menu of West Coast Italian fare, including our famous house-made Crab Cakes, stuffed French Toast, and Truffle Mushroom Gnocchi. We are proudly local, and love to feature local as much as we can. You'll find all of BC's best on our Beer & Wine list. 

To cap off the best dining experience in Vancouver, we regularly feature local musicians at the 2nd Floor Gastown, and every year we look forward to our outdoor summer patio music series.
