Joann D.

Joann D. has a strong background in communications and marketing. Joann started their career as a Student Trainee at Leisure Holiday & Travel in 2012. In 2014, they worked as a Graduate Trainee at Digicel PNG Ltd, where they gained experience in understanding brand guidelines and organizing focus groups. Joann then progressed to the role of Content Executive at Digicel, managing social media accounts and online advertising. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Brand and Communications executive at Digicel, where they focused on managing the brand message and media liaison. Currently, Joann D. works as a Communications Coordinator at WaterAid, where they are responsible for writing and editing marketing and communications materials, managing media and social media channels, and coordinating media coverage of events.

Joann D. completed their Certificate of Secondary School in Social Sciences from Gerehu Secondary School from 2006 to 2009. Joann then pursued their Bachelor of Business Management in Tourism and Hospitality Management at The University of Papua New Guinea from 2010 to 2013.
