Tara Bartnik

Tara Bartnik is a technical lead in Water Security & Climate at WaterAid Australia, where they provide support and promote learning on water security and climate adaptation initiatives internationally, particularly in Timor Leste, Cambodia, and Papua New Guinea. With a decade of experience in the water sector spanning various roles in England, Australia, Norway, Timor Leste, and Nepal, Tara is a trained civil engineer who holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Water, Sanitation, Health & Development from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. They have previously worked as a WASH Program Quality Mentor and Programme Support Advisor at WaterAid, contributing to water security and program quality initiatives. Tara believes in the transformative power of access to safe and reliable water, sanitation, and hygiene services, especially for women.
