Timothy Ingram

Timothy Ingram is currently the Head of UK Advocacy at WaterAid, a position held since January 2022, where leadership of a high-performing team focuses on influencing the UK Government regarding Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene with key interests in G7, COP27, and International Development Strategy. Prior to this, Timothy served as Senior Government Relations Adviser at Tearfund from September 2014 to January 2022, leading political public affairs efforts and drafting engagement strategies for impactful policy change. Earlier experience includes the role of Humanitarian Policy Officer at Tearfund, focusing on advocacy related to the World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction, and participation in the Civil Service Fast Stream between 2010 and 2014 at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, contributing to areas such as water quality and the Natural Environment White Paper. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and International Development from the University of Sussex.
