Louis Botha

Louis Botha is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and operations across various sectors. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at WaterBear Network since June 2020, Louis leads financial elements of Series A fundraising and oversees all financial matters in the organization. Previously, Louis held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Marche Media and worked as a Financial Controller in the venture capital space. Additional experience includes management positions at MediCoop CFI and Icon Villas, along with a foundation in auditing gained through roles at Deloitte. Louis holds a Bachelor of Accounting and an Honours in Accounting from Stellenbosch University, complemented by a Chartered Accountant (CA) designation from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
