Waterguard is a Norwegian company specializing in the development of systems for water leak prevention. The company was founded by former Norwegian Hydro engineer John Asheim early 1990s. In 2004 the business was taken over by Lars Nilsen and his company Lani Development.

SINTEF confirms that the Waterguard leak protection meets the requirements for documentation provided in the Plan and Building Act and associated Regulations on technical requirements for construction (TEK 17), with the properties, uses and conditions stated here.
