Ian Stock

Ian Stock has over 15 years of professional experience in the fields of business intelligence, analytics, and financial services. Ian began their career in 2004 as an Account Manager at AIG, where they managed over 100 technology clients in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. In 2006, they worked as a Consultant for Blockbuster Online, Chiron Data Systems, and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Roofing Supply Group (RSG) as an Accounting/Financial Analyst, and at Concentra as an Outcomes Analyst. In 2012, they joined HomeAway.com as a Business Intelligence Analyst, and in 2013 they became Manager of Business Intelligence at Bigcommerce. Since 2015, they have been a Practice Director at Waterloo Data, where they coordinate effective communication across a range of stakeholders and team members while directing the analytical project process.

Ian Stock holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Southern Methodist University, which they obtained between 2004 and 2006 with a focus in Corporate Finance & Strategy. Ian also holds a B.Sc. from Texas A&M University, which they obtained between 1992 and 1996 with a focus in Biomedical Science. Additionally, they have obtained three certifications: a Program in General Insurance (INS) from The Institutes CPCU Society in 2004, a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) in 2013, and an Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA) from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) in 2009.
