Waterloo Venture Group exists for one reason: the right introduction, at the right moment, can change everything.

Built in Waterloo and connected far beyond it, WVG is a student entrepreneurship community and talent network made of the most authentic, future-ready students in North America.

We build rooms where founders meet future investors and co-founders, students find new roles that ship, and funds meet talent before the rest of the market catches on.

From ideation to Series A, we provide pro-bono startup consultancy, helping founders refine pitches, secure investment, and build growth engines. Together, we’ve unlocked $8.8M+ in funding and supported startups that went on to YC and other top programs.

For students, we provide hands-on startup experience, co-op and new-grad opportunities, and access to founders and VCs before anyone else. For investors and partners, we deliver early access to emerging talent and high-potential portfolio companies.

Built in the Maple Valley.
