Aryan Rao

Aryan Rao is currently a member of the Infrastructure Team at Waterloop, focusing on researching, designing, and prototyping a Hyperloop track with a near-vacuum environment, utilizing Solidworks and AutoCAD for track design. In addition, Aryan is an active member of the Waterloo Data Science Club and the UW Computer Science Club. Previously, as a Software Engineer at The Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce, Aryan optimized the company website and updated a comprehensive cloud database while developing an interactive 3D map to enhance customer experience. Aryan also contributed as a Committee Member for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, where activities included revitalizing city infrastructure by gathering youth input through surveys and events. Aryan is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Honours Management Engineering at the University of Waterloo, expected to graduate in April 2027.
