Tharun Ganeshram

Tharun Ganeshram is a skilled engineering professional with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Currently serving as Firmware Team Lead and Developer at Waterloop since December 2022, Tharun focuses on optimizing battery management systems for Hyperloop pods. Additional roles include Embedded Flight Software Developer at Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group and Firmware Engineer at Blackline Safety, where responsibilities encompassed developing embedded UI and connected gas sensor firmware. Previous experience includes software development at Incognito Software Systems and mdf commerce, as well as embedded software development at Ciena. Tharun also has a background in database research and web development, demonstrated through projects at Digitera.Interactive and the Ottawa Sivan Temple. Tharun's diverse experiences are complemented by a long-standing commitment to sports as a referee for the Eastern Region Soccer League.
