Simon Bouwman has over twenty years of experience in strategic advisory roles, focusing on governance, digitalization, and societal transformation for various governmental organizations at both regional and national levels. In their recent position as a strategic advisor at Waternet, Simon provides insights on digitalization and cybersecurity while exploring the implications of technological changes. Previously, they have held roles such as interim privacy and security officer and interim strategic advisor, where they implemented significant governance and process improvements. Simon holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam and has pursued further education in integrated water resource management and ethics in digital innovation.
