Watershed is a floating sauna experience on Lake Whakatipu in Queenstown, New Zealand.

Designed for travellers and locals alike, Watershed combines Nordic sauna culture, cold water immersion, and spectacular alpine scenery to create a uniquely New Zealand wellness experience.

Located on the lakefront and within walking distance of all of Queenstown’s major hotels, Watershed offers a rare sense of escape just minutes from the town centre. Guests move between heat, cold, and nature while taking in uninterrupted views of The Remarkables and surrounding mountains. Despite its central location, once on the water it feels worlds away, immersed in nature and disconnected from the pace of everyday life.

Alongside public sessions, Watershed hosts private experiences, community events, brand activatioins, private and corporate gatherings that connect visitors to the landscape and to each other.

As wellness tourism continues to grow globally, Watershed sits at the intersection of travel, hospitality, and wellbeing, offering a destination experience as memorable as the region itself.
