Waterside Academy is a specialist Key Stage 3 and 4 provision for young people who have faced challenges in mainstream education, including those at risk of or following permanent exclusion. 

Our trauma-informed practice underpins everything we do, ensuring pupils feel safe, understood, and supported to rebuild trust in education. We deliver a personalised curriculum that balances academic learning with therapeutic and enrichment opportunities, enabling each pupil to re-engage, grow in confidence, and achieve success.
