Miekale Smith

Miekale Smith is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo. They serve as an ADAS Intern at Harbinger and previously worked as an Operation Excellence Specialist at G&W Electric Co., where they documented manufacturing processes and proposed cost-saving solutions. Miekale has experience as a ML/Robotics Software Developer at Rapyuta Robotics, where they developed end-to-end detection pipelines and automated MLOps processes, and as Director of Humanoid Robotics at WATonomous, leading a team to create advanced robotic systems. Their involvement in FIRST Robotics Canada as Electrical Lead showcased their leadership skills in designing and maintaining electrical systems for competition robots.
