Tom Kavan

Tom Kavan has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Tom served as the VP of Talent Experience and Development at Watsco, Inc. since December 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Leadership Development at the same company. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Vice President of Recruitment Intelligence, a division of ARC Group, where they revolutionized the way companies acquire talent. Tom also worked as a Partner and Vice President at American Recruiting and Consulting Group from 2013 to 2016. In this role, they managed a team of recruiters and provided strategic consulting to executives. Before that, they served as a Corporate Director at the same company. Tom started their career as a National Sales Manager at The Provence Collection and The Pine Mine, where they helped grow the company and developed a proprietary line of furniture. Prior to that, they worked as a Store Manager at Gray and Sons, where they quickly progressed from a Jr. Sales Associate.

Tom Kavan completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at Marist College from 1988 to 1992. Tom then pursued studies toward a Master's degree in Organizational Communication at the University of Miami from 1992 to 1994. Prior to these higher education achievements, Tom attended Southington High School.
