Jon Skaggs

Jon Skaggs is an experienced entrepreneur and advisor with a focus on startups since 2007. Currently an advisor at Watsi, a global crowdfunding platform for healthcare, Jon has been dedicated to enabling donations for medical treatments since August 2011. Prior to this role, Jon served as a volunteer in the Peace Corps from March 2009 to May 2011. Before transitioning to entrepreneurship, Jon was a professional athlete, playing for teams such as the New York Yankees, Houston Astros, and De Angeles Godo in Italy from 2001 to 2008. Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Business, and Sports Management from Rice University, completed in 2001.
