Suzanne Sutherland

Suzanne Sutherland is an accomplished content leader and children’s author with extensive experience in the publishing industry. Currently serving as Content Lead at Wattpad since August 2021, Suzanne oversees the management and acquisition strategy of the Wattpad Originals English-language program while coaching editorial teams. Previously, Suzanne held various roles at HarperCollins Canada, including Senior Manager and Senior Editor, where strategic management of the children’s publishing program resulted in successful title acquisitions and production. In addition to editorial roles, Suzanne has authored seven children's books and received recognition as a two-time finalist for the Legislative Assembly of Ontario's Speakers’ Young Authors Book Award. Academic credentials include an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English, Sociology, and Book & Media Studies from the University of Toronto.
