Kai Guevara

Regional Manager

Kai Guevara is an early career professional specializing in energy analytics and decarbonization strategy, currently serving as a Regional Manager at WattShift, a startup dedicated to reducing carbon emissions. In 2024, Kai developed a $56M microgrid project for the National Park Service, achieving net-zero carbon emissions at Death Valley National Park. Previously, as a Junior Data Analyst at the University of California, Berkeley, Kai supported grant applications by maintaining student data. Additionally, Kai interned with Roots of Success, where a job connection system for environmental program graduates was implemented. Currently, Kai pursues a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Conservation, alongside studies in Cognitive Science at the University of California, Berkeley.
