Hyemi Jung

Hyemi Jung began their career in 2005 as an Assistant Sales Manager at Hyundai Corporation, where they worked on a team in Paris exporting steel to Europe. Hyemi researched new business partners throughout Europe and communicated with buyers of different nationalities while negotiating the terms. In 2007, they joined Industrial Bank of Korea as a Bank Manager, where they advised and consulted with clients on their financial activities and foreign exchange transactions. Hyemi also performed various financial analyses of current/potential corporate clients and supervised junior banking staff. In 2014, Hyemi became a Volunteer at Women 2.0. Finally, in 2016, they became the Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder at WAUG Inc., where they led the company's global expansion, business development and operations, and set up and managed the overseas offices. Hyemi also developed a business strategy and marketing plans.

Hyemi Jung received their Bachelor of Economics and International Trade from Kyung Hee University in 2007. Hyemi then went on to pursue their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Hult International Business School, where they were awarded a Dean's Scholarship. Hyemi completed their MBA in 2014, with a focus in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2015, Hyemi Jung began their Master of Education (M.Ed.) at Yonsei University, which they completed in 2017.
