Tyler Wright is an experienced educator currently serving as an APEX Instructor at Waukee Community Schools since August 2016, specializing in Engineering and leading aspiring professionals in Construction Leadership and Engineering Technology & Robotics. Prior to this role, Tyler taught technology education courses at Waukee High School and was involved in coaching robotics. Additional professional experience includes a Teacher Extern position in Design Engineering at John Deere and serving as a Technology Education Teacher at Dallas Center Grimes Schools, where Tyler covered subjects such as welding, architecture, CAD, 3D modeling, video game design, cyber security, robotics, website development, and video production. Tyler began the career as a Student Drafter at Viking Pump, Inc. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University and a Bachelor's Degree in Technology Teacher Education/Industrial Arts Teacher Education from the University of Northern Iowa.
