Fangjun Liu

Fangjun Liu is a Senior Scientist II at Wave Life Sciences, specializing in molecular pathology, biology, and analytical assay development since June 2017. Previous roles include Staff Scientist at Dermatology Associates, where expertise in histological techniques was established, and Instructor in Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School, focusing on gene therapy and tissue engineering. Liu’s research experience spans various prestigious institutions, including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Columbia University, and UMass Medical School, contributing significantly to advances in bone healing, gene therapy, and regenerative medicine. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Regenerative Medicine, a Master’s in Surgery/Molecular Biology, and an MD in Clinical Medicine, all contributing to a strong foundation in biomedical research.
