Coura Sene

Coura Sene is the current General Manager of Waemu at Wave Mobile. Coura has previously worked as the WAEMU Regional Director and General Manager at Wave Mobile Money for 4 years and 2 months. In these positions, they were responsible for general management, Francophone public policy, business development and partnerships.

Sene has a strong background in the mobile money industry, with over 10 years of experience working in various countries in Africa. Coura is a passionate advocate for financial inclusion, and has been instrumental in helping Wave Mobile Money expand its operations into new markets. Under their leadership, Wave Mobile Money has become one of the leading mobile money providers in the region.

Sene is a graduate of the University of Dakar, where they earned a degree in economics.

Coura Sene has a degree in engineering from Polytech'Lille, a DEUG in mathematics from Université Lille I, and a baccalauréat from Cours Sainte Marie de Hann - Dakar.
