Joe Trellick

Joe Trellick is a Senior Engineering Manager at Wave Mobile Money since November 2021. Prior to this, Joe participated at the Recurse Center, focusing on web frontend projects and sharing insights on software design and tech industry experiences. From August 2012 to May 2021, Joe held the position of Head Of Mobile at Citymapper, where responsibilities included mobile development, team management, product management, and mentoring. Joe's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Google, contributing to mobile projects and leading work on Google Maps directions functionality, and working as a Senior Software Engineer at MAYA Design, where team management and design contributions were pivotal. Joe also held roles at Carnegie Mellon University as a Teaching Assistant, Visual Interface as a Designer/Engineer, and Intel as an Applications Engineer. Joe earned a B.S. in Computer Science with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University.
