Sid Sridhar

Sid Sridhar is the current head of business at Wave Mobile. Sid has over seven years of experience in finance, with a focus on strategic planning and execution, fundraising, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, expansion, and venture investing. Prior to joining Wave Mobile, Sid was the head of business and finance lead at Sendwave, where they oversaw strategic finance, corp dev, and public policy. Sid was also instrumental in Sendwave's acquisition by World Remit for $500M. Sid has also worked as a finance manager at Uber, where they navigated the company's complex payment architecture with cross-border acquiring and local/x-border payouts. Sid also served as the capital markets manager at Google, Inc., where they developed and executed on FX strategy amidst volatile global currency markets. Sid holds a Masters in Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management.

Sid Sridhar attended the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School, where they earned a BSE in Finance & Management. Sid was involved in the Student Federal Credit Union and Penn Cricket Club while they were a student there. Sid then went on to Kellogg School of Management, where they earned a degree in Finance - Private Equity/Venture Capital Track. While at Kellogg, they were involved in the PE/VC Club, Asian Management Association, and was the Social Chair of 1Y Class. Prior to that, they attended Jakarta International School, where they earned an International Baccalaureatte. Sid was involved in the National Honor Society and Varsity Tennis while they were a student there. Sid also holds Series 7, 63 & 79 FINRA/NASD licenses.
