Wave9 is a UK specialist in managed internet, safeguarding, security and telephony services for schools, academies and trusts. Our solutions are compliant by design with Department for Education standards, secure as standard, and backed by unlimited access to engineers who understand education.
We know that choosing broadband and safeguarding services is not just about technology. It is about confidence: confidence that pupils will be kept safe online, that teaching and learning will not be disrupted, and that staff will get the right support without delay.
What sets Wave9 apart is the way we deliver. Every school is supported by a dedicated project manager and technical services engineer to ensure a smooth migration with no downtime. Our engineers answer calls directly – no queues, no tickets – and resolve problems quickly. We are deliberately built as a culture-first business, hiring for values as well as technical skill, so that every interaction is shaped by responsiveness, ownership and trust.
Our broadband and safeguarding services include firewall protection and education-specific web filtering to meet KCSIE requirements. By working with multiple wholesale partners, we offer the most appropriate technology at the best price, tailored to both your technical requirements and your budget. We also provide managed network infrastructure, hosted telephony designed for education, and flexible co-managed models that give trusts control where they want it.
The proof is in the outcomes. 98% of schools renew with Wave9 year after year, and every customer we’ve asked is willing to be a reference. Schools describe us as approachable, responsive and different from the norm: a provider that takes ownership, solves issues straight away, and genuinely cares.
Wave9 is the safe choice for schools: safe for pupils through compliant safeguarding, safe for leaders through proven resilience and renewal, and safe for staff through a culture of service that is rare in this sector.
