Bochong Li is a seasoned professional in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as VP of Innovation at WaveBreak, focusing on biophysics and structural biology to address protein aggregation diseases. Previously, as Senior Director of Strategy and Innovation at Cullinan Oncology, Bochong designed innovation strategies and frameworks for asset evaluation. Bochong also held a consulting position at MPM Capital, specializing in venture formation within the immuno-oncology space. Additional experience includes a summer associate role at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, working on biotech intellectual property and regulatory issues, and a graduate associate position at Duke University's Office of Licensing and Ventures. Bochong's academic credentials include a JD from Harvard Law School and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.

WaveBreak is a biopharmaceutical company focused on transforming drug discovery for neurodegenerative diseases, targeting the fleeting protein intermediates central to many disease pathways that are beyond the reach of conventional drug discovery approaches. WaveBreak has built a unique drug discovery platform to target the transient protein intermediates—the oligomers—in these disease pathways, to interrupt the molecular mechanisms that are the source of oligomer generation with small-molecule therapeutics. WaveBreak is focusing this platform first on some of the greatest unmet medical needs of our time: Parkinson’s disease, Lewy body dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and ALS.
