Ross Cunningham began their work experience in 1995 at Stolt-Nielsen Limited, a leading global provider of integrated transportation solutions. During their time there, they served as the Newbuildings System Supervisor, responsible for designing, installing, and supporting systems and infrastructure on over 70 parcel tankers. Ross also designed Phase 7 networks for redundant DNV Certified Systems onboard chemical tankers.
In 1998, Cunningham joined HBR Consulting LLC (formerly Hildebrandt Baker Robbins and Baker Robbins & Company). As a Director, they specialized in operations management and technology implementations for corporate headquarters and specialized facilities. Their responsibilities included project staffing, project P&L, consulting methodologies, marketing material, and budgets. Ross also assessed clients' level in the Capability Maturity Model and provided consulting on transitioning to a Quantitatively Managed model for the physical infrastructure. Cunningham worked at HBR Consulting LLC until 2012.
In 2012, Cunningham joined Waveguide LLC, an independent consulting firm headquartered in Atlanta. As Principal and Director of Southwest Operations, they provided life-cycle technology consulting services to global corporate enterprises and legal markets. This included master planning, technology design, and ongoing technology management services. Cunningham's tenure at Waveguide LLC continues to the present.
Ross Cunningham earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering from Texas A&M University, where they attended from 1989 to 1995. In addition to their undergraduate degree, they also obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include the RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification from BICSI in August 1999, the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in November 2008, and the CTS-D (Certified Technology Specialist-Design) certification from INFOCOMM INTERNATIONAL in July 2007. Ross also obtained the ITIL V3 Foundations certification, although specific details regarding the institution and timeframe are not provided.
