Ian Smith

Ian Smith has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Ian began their career as a Sales Representative at Hertz Equipment Rental from September 2001 to July 2003 before moving to Ohio Cat as a Sales Representative from July 2003 to January 2005. Ian then joined Team Fishel as a Project Manager from January 2005 to January 2007, where they later assumed the position of General Manager for Columbus FiberNet & Dublink Development from December 2006 to January 2012. Since January 2012, Ian has been with Waveguide Solutions LLC, starting as a Senior Project Manager and later transitioning to Director of Professional Services. Ian then became the Vice President - Corporate & Business Development before assuming their current role as Vice President and General Manager.

Ian Smith completed their Bachelor of Science in Recreational Management and Policy at the University of New Hampshire from 1995 to 1999. In 2020, they attended Kellogg Executive Education for a short-term program in Strategic Change Management, but did not pursue a degree.
