Daniel Varela

Daniel Varela is currently the Head of Sales at Wavely. Daniel has previous experience working as a Sales Manager at Workyard and as a Business Development Head at OYO.

Daniel has always been a top performer in their sales roles, consistently hitting or exceeding benchmark goals. In 2017, they overachieved their quota by 120%. Daniel successfully led a sales campaign team for launches and densifications in Hampton VA, Washington DC, Charlotte, and Raleigh.

At OYO, Daniel managed a team of 8 field reps and was responsible for their training and overall development. Daniel was successful in bringing on hotel/motel properties in the East LA market. Daniel was also responsible for analyzing data from P&L statements to determine long-term potential revenue for hotel partnerships. Daniel was able to transform lowly occupied properties into chic, modern spaces with occupancy rates of 70% - 85%.
