Ben Ong is currently working as a Venture Builder at Wavemaker Impact, a climate venture build VC in SouthEast Asia. Prior to this, Ben was an Expert Fellow at the World Economic Forum where Ben founded and scaled a new Data Analytics & Insights Advisory company. Previously, Ben served as the Head of Strategy Group (Digital & Industry 4.0) at Singapore Economic Development Board, where Ben designed and developed new businesses to advance Singapore’s competitiveness. Ben also has experience as a Military Counsellor at the Singapore Armed Forces. Ben holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor's Degree in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from Rice University.
