Marie Cheong is the Founding Partner at Wavemaker Impact, the first VC climate tech venture builder in Southeast Asia. With a background in venture building and sustainability-focused businesses, Marie has a proven track record of driving growth and innovation in various industries. Prior to her current role, she held positions at ENGIE Factory Asia-Pacific, Lucep, KPMG, Simon-Kucher & Partners, and Kier Group, where she led teams, managed projects, and delivered significant efficiency savings for clients. Marie holds an MBA from National University of Singapore and a BA in Politics & East Asian Studies from McGill University.
