Jatin Verma

Jatin Verma has worked in various roles since 2013. In 2013, they were a Member of the Robotics and Research Group of MNIT Jaipur. In 2016, they were a Summer Research Intern at IIT Ropar, Punjab. In 2017, they were an ERI@N-MSc Project Sponsorship Intern at the Energy Research Institute @ NTU, where they replicated the 22kV Jurong Port Distribution Grid on eTAP. In 2018, they were a Back End Developer Intern at Graymatics, Inc, where they developed a Django-based web platform for clients to upload multiple images and annotate them manually. In 2019, they were a Software Developer and AI Scientist at WaveScan, where they developed the WaveScan Visualizer Desktop App, the Manual Defect Tagging interface, and a ResNet model with 0.64 mean Absolute Precision. Jatin also developed an AI model using Deep Learning which could classify the scanned materials into 7 pre-defined material types. Jatin also held a Machine Learning Intern role at WaveScan.

Jatin Verma has a diverse educational background. Jatin completed their Higher Secondary Education from Vandana Convent Sr. Sec. School in 2013, majoring in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science. Jatin then went on to pursue their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur from 2013 to 2017. Subsequently, they obtained their Master of Engineering - MEng in AI in Power Systems from Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2017 to 2019. Jatin also holds certifications in Python and SQL from HackerRank, both obtained in February 2022, as well as a certification in How Google does Machine Learning from Coursera, obtained in February 2019.
