Kush Agarwal

Kush Agarwal has held various roles in the tech industry since 2014. In 2016, they co-founded Synapse Technologies Pte. Ltd., where they developed solutions to transform current cafeterias into Hi-Tech dining facilities. In 2017, they co-founded SmartClean Technologies Pte Ltd, an IoT and AI company aiming to disrupt the cleaning industry. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at the Singapore Institute for Neurotechnology (SINAPSE) as an Engineering Manager & Research Fellow, where their responsibilities included coordinating projects, making detailed plans to accomplish the commercialization roadmap and directing the development of proof-of-concept prototypes. In 2018, they founded WaveScan, an A*STAR spin-off company specializing in the R&D of disruptive beamforming electromagnetics based smart sensor systems and advanced AI algorithms. Kush also served as a Steering Committee Member for IEEE Entrepreneurship, an Executive Committee Member for IEEE, and an Editorial Board Member for the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). In 2020, they became a Mentor for Voices Of Asia (powered by WeConnect), and in 2021 they became a Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) Community EXCO for Enterprise Singapore.

Kush Agarwal began their education at St. John's School, Marhauli, Varanasi, where they completed kindergarten (lower & upper) and 12 years (10th & 12th). Kush then obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from College of Engineering Roorkee in 2006-2010. Afterward, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Communications Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2011-2013. Kush then obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2014-2018. Subsequently, they obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology in 2018-2019. Kush is currently enrolled in the Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) program at INSEAD. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Developing Applications Using Core Java from NIIT Technologies Limited in October 2008.
