Muhammad Faeyz Karim has a wealth of experience in the field of engineering. Starting in 2002, they worked as an RF Engineer/Research Associate at NTU/DSO, where they designed, developed, and tested RF MEMS bandpass and bandstop tunable filters, phase shifters, and switches. Muhammad Faeyz was also involved in designing RF MEMS switches, phase shifters, reconfigurable antennas, and directional couplers. In 2006, they moved to Emerson, where they worked as a Test Engineer and was part of a multinational organization. Muhammad Faeyz enhanced their technical skills and improved their skill in managing and organizing teams. From 2007 to 2009, they worked at the Institute for Infocomm Research as a Deputy Department Head/Project Manager/Research Scientist, managing and leading R&D projects sponsored by industry and government organizations. From 2009 to 2017, they were an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore, lecturing postgraduate modules, and involved in the curriculum design, teaching, and assessment. In 2018, they co-founded WaveScan Technologies Pte. Ltd. and in 2021, they became the Chair of IEEE Singapore Section.

Muhammad Faeyz Karim completed a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) from 1997 to 2000. Muhammad Faeyz then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Communication Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2001 to 2002. Following this, they completed a PhD in Micromachined Tunable Filters using MEMS Switches from Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2004 to 2008. Lastly, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Lancaster University from 2010 to 2012.
