Deon Gerber

Deon Gerber has worked in various roles in the finance and investment industry since 2006. Deon began their career as a Senior Equity Broker at Mansion House Securities in 2006. In 2008, they took on the role of Equity Sales/Trading at Fox-Davies Capital Inc. and Marketing Consultant at The Capital Organisation. Deon then moved to Lakewood Asset Management in 2012 as a Director/Consultant. In 2009, they became a Director at Cornerstone Capital Partners, where they identified suitable investment opportunities in global real estate, renewable energy, and Oil & Gas. In 2013, they were appointed Director at Alpine Realty Partners, and in 2017 they took on the role of Director at Imperium Finance (Pty) Ltd. In 2019, they became the Managing Director of WI Consultancy, where they were in charge of the day-to-day operations of the company. Most recently, in 2020, they were appointed Head of Investor Relations at WaveTech Group, Inc., and in 2021 they became Co-Founder & Director at Proximity Healthcare.

Deon Gerber completed their Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2003. In 2004, they completed CFA Level 1 from the CFA Institute. In 2005, they completed Unit 1 - Regulation Paper from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI). Finally, in 2006, they completed Unit 2 - Securities Paper from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI).
