John Duer

John Duer is an experienced operations engineer currently enhancing store operations at Wawa, Inc. since July 2025. In this role, John Duer establishes time standards through time studies, updates capacity standards via data analysis, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve procedures. Additional experience includes a sales role at Crabs Plus and a half sheller position at 42nd Street Oyster Bar in early 2025. John Duer's leadership experience within Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity involved managing a chapter of over 100 members and overseeing academic committees. An industrial engineering internship at GKN Automotive allowed John Duer to contribute through authoring standard work forms, creating an assembly configuration matrix, and visualizing task operations. John Duer is pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering at North Carolina State University, having previously graduated from St. Augustine Prep with a high school diploma.
