Patrick Smith

Patrick Smith, CFI, has extensive experience in loss prevention, currently serving as a Senior Loss Prevention Advisor at Wawa, Inc. since January 2018, after holding the role of Loss Prevention Investigator. Previously, Patrick was the Regional Loss Prevention Manager at Helzberg Diamonds, and held positions as District Loss Prevention Manager at J.Crew and Area Asset Protection - Investigations at The Sports Authority. Early career experience includes roles such as Loss Prevention Manager at Lord & Taylor and Loss Prevention at Sears, Roebuck and Co., and Nordstrom. Additionally, Patrick gained forensic experience as a Questioned Documents Intern with the Maryland State Police Forensic Sciences Division. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Studies from the University of Baltimore and an Associate of Arts from Anne Arundel Community College.
