John O'Hanlon

John O'Hanlon has over 30 years of work experience in the automotive industry. John served as the Chief Executive Officer for Waylands Automotive from November 2017 to the present. In December 2020, they became the Chairman of the NFDA EV Working Group at the National Franchised Dealers Association. Prior to that, they were a Non Executive Director at John Clark Motor Group since October 2016. From 1998 to 2016, they worked at Ridgeway Group, starting as a Financial Controller and progressing to the roles of Financial Director/Brand Director and eventually CEO. Before that, they worked as a Motor Retail Manager at Grant Thornton from 1990 to 1998.

John O'Hanlon started their education at Cardinal Newman High School in 1979 and completed their studies in 1986. However, no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period. In 1987, they enrolled in the University of Glasgow and obtained an MA degree in Accounts Economics in 1990.
