Lisa Samaan

Program Director, Transitional Age Youth Crisis Residential Program at Waymakers

Lisa Samaan is a skilled mental health professional with extensive experience in clinical supervision and program management. Currently serving as the Program Director at Waymakers since May 2018, Lisa directs operations for short-term crisis residential services targeting transitional age youth and oversees the clinical supervision of pre-licensed mental health professionals. Additionally, Lisa holds the position of Assistant Professor at Vanguard University of Southern California, and previously worked as an Adjunct Professor and Teaching Assistant in Graduate Psychology. Prior roles include Clinical Supervisor at Orangewood Foundation, Wrap Around Therapist at ChildNet Youth and Family Services, and various positions in mental health settings focused on psychotherapy and case management. Lisa obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California.
