Mark Holmes

Mark Holmes is the founder and CEO of Waymark Tech. Mark has over seven years of experience in the financial technology industry, with a focus on regulation. Mark has advised on transaction reporting matters from an operational compliance perspective for companies such as Accenture and Traiana. Mark is well-versed in EMIR, DF, MiFID II, ASIC, HKMA, MAS, Canada, FinFRAG transaction reporting, and Brexit scenario analysis. In their previous role as a program manager at Traiana, they were responsible for overseeing the company's compliance with regulatory rules and requirements.

Mark Holmes has a BSc in Combined Studies from Heriot-Watt University, with a focus in Biology and Business. Mark also has a Chemistry degree from The University of Edinburgh. For their A-Levels, they studied Maths, Chemistry, Biology at Harrow School. Mark is also certified as a Registered Exercise Professional Level 3 by the Register of Exercise Professionals, and has a RLSS Open Water Lifeguard certification from the Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK. Additionally, they have Financial Derivatives and Securities certifications from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI).
