Dana Thomas

Dana Thomas is the Growth Partnerships at Waymark. Prior to joining Waymark, Dana served as the Growth Director and Chief of Staff to the Medicaid President at Anthem, Inc. from May 2021 to April 2022. Previously, Dana served as the Sr. Government Relations Director at Anthem from December 2013 to April 2021.

Before joining the private sector, Dana served as the Director of Policy and Advocacy at the National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association from January 2010 to December 2013. Dana also worked as Legislative Counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives from July 2008 to January 2010. Prior to that, Dana was the Associate Director, Medicare & Medicaid Policy at the National Association of Community Health Centers from January 2006 to December 2008.

Dana Thomas holds a JD from The George Washington University Law School, a certificate in health policy from The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Spanish Language and Literature from Bowdoin College. Dana is also certified by the DC Bar as an attorney and by the - as a health policy specialist.
