Amiya Jagdev

Amiya Jagdev is a Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently employed at Waymo since October 2021, Amiya focuses on sensor cooling air and fluid hose routing, connector selection, and retention bracket design. Previously, Amiya worked at Applied Materials as a Packaging Design Engineer and collaborated with Woven by Toyota as a Mechanical Design Engineer, contributing to harness integration for Lyft AV vehicles. From 2012 to 2016, Amiya served as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at QuEST Global, supporting GE Transportation in Tier 4 projects and conducting various design analyses. Earlier positions include Engineering Team Lead at Volvo 3P, where new components for engine cooling applications were developed, and Assistant Manager at Mahindra Group, contributing to new product introduction projects. Amiya holds a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha.
