Atul Kumar

Atul Kumar is an experienced professional in product operations and strategy, currently serving as Director at Waymo since August 2019, focusing on accelerating self-driving technology to enhance accessibility. Prior to this role, Atul held positions at Google, including Senior Principal of Strategy and BizOps, as well as Sr Product Manager and Global Operations Manager for Android, where responsibilities included product management for the Google Play marketplace and leading global AdSense operations. Atul co-founded HanuNet, Inc. and contributed to startups through internships at Trinity Ventures, Battery Ventures, and Inventus Capital Partners. Earlier experience at Cisco involved managing product strategy within the Edge Routing Business Unit. Atul holds an MBA from The Wharton School, an MS in Computer Science from Purdue University, and a BS in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
