Bill Wei

Bill Wei is an accomplished DV Engineer with extensive experience in silicon design for leading technology companies. Currently at Waymo since July 2021, Bill focuses on computing silicon for autonomous vehicles. Prior to this role, Bill served as a SoC DV Engineer at Apple from September 2017 to June 2021, contributing to the development of next-generation silicon chips for new Apple products as part of the fullchip DV team. Bill began a career at AMD, where roles included DV Engineer working on the Infinity Fabric IP for client and server products from August 2016 to August 2017, and earlier internships within the Infinity Fabric IP and System Management Unit IP groups. Bill holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science with a focus on Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, earned in 2016.
