Bo Yang

Bo Yang is a Senior Software Engineer at Waymo since January 2019, with prior experience at Cisco from October 2014 to January 2019. At Cisco, Bo Yang specialized in enterprise wireless Access Points, focusing on platform-independent software and embedded Linux system services. Earlier roles include Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida from August 2012 to May 2014, conducting bioinformatics projects and teaching programming and operating system courses. Additionally, Bo Yang was a Member of Technical Staff at Alcatel-Lucent from July 2008 to July 2012, developing a network-level simulation environment for wireless products. Bo Yang holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, an M.E. in Pattern Recognition & Intelligent Systems from Beijing Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Automation Engineering from Nanjing Normal University.
